On the night before lockdown, we explore what's being done to support our homeless population during lockdown, and visit Waka of Caring, the Manurewa drop-in centre helping people survive.
Since filming, Waka of Caring has been granted essential services status. They will be able to continue looking after Auckland's homeless - but their food bank is nearly empty.
