I looked at the stats and the stories that people told about us and I couldn’t see anything worth trying to cling to.” It took Josiah Tulamali’i years of being embarrassed to be Samoan to realise how much pain Pasifika people were feeling. Now he’s working to give Pasifika youth a voice in Aotearoa.
