On the ground in West Auckland after the floods

Courtney, Tamati and their baby girl had only moved into their house in West Auckland three weeks ago.
Now everything they own is drenched in mud, soaked by the torrential floodwaters that hit Auckland this weekend.
"We threw everything we had into this place," Tamati told Re: News. "We're both 22. We're just trying to start our lives."
