Elizabeth Larina and Eugene Liapin are a Russian couple who have been living in New Zealand for nearly 3 years. They were activists against Putin’s government, and are now unpacking the anti-war sentiment of many Russians, and the barriers those living in Russia face in expressing such views.
“I hope that Ukrainian people who live in New Zealand and all around the world perceive this as the war of one person…. We have a common enemy - this enemy called Vladimir Putin.”
