‘There’s no B in te reo Māori’: Whisper Challenge

Here’s a fun way to add some new kupu to your kete this Te Wiki o Te Reo Māori. 

Inspired by The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon, our reo Māori series Ohinga has pulled together some mates to play the Ohinga Whisper Challenge. 

The rules

• Two players go head to head. 
• One player wears headphones with the music up loud so they can’t hear a thing.
• The other player then reads out a word in te reo Māori.
• The person wearing the headphones tries to guess what they’re saying.
