Women tell us the worst DMs they've received
Today is International Women’s Day and the theme this year is all about how we can achieve gender equality through innovation and technology.
According to the United Nations, a global analysis of 133 AI systems found that 44.2% had gender bias and a survey of female journalists from 125 countries found that 73% had suffered online violence because of their job.
So we asked women in Tāmaki Makaurau about how safe they feel in the digital space and to describe the worst DMs they’ve received online.
